Shiatsu for Families and Bodyworkers will be a course for people who want to learn how to meet the needs of their family members, clients and themselves through the deep wisdom that Shiatsu holds. It is a wonderful way to connect and equip you with skills to understand what may be going on from a Chinese Medicine and 5 transformations perspective.

We will be learning the basic principles of Shiatsu. Understanding how to manage fevers, how to calm the nervous system to help aid sleep and how to manage and work with colds, coughs and croup. We will be looking into diet, meditation and Qi gong and we will be learning to give and receive Shiatsu.

You will also have a chance to practice the skills learned and come back with questions as you integrate your learning of listening and touch. Over the course you will feel supported in your own parenting and build a foundation of skills you can feel confident to move from with your presence and touch.
